4 years and counting...

4 years ago today, at 12:44 AM, Jeff and I were blessed by having a precious baby boy.

We named him Jacob Steven. Jake, as we call him, is a very unique child. His favorite things at this point are Batman, or actually any type of super hero, mac and cheese, spending time with his friends, hospital gloves, "silkies" or hanging with his Daddy. He can be entertained best by a rope, a box and a string. He has grown up a lot in the past year. From starting out at 8 pounds 7 ounces, he is now around 40. He is also very tall and thin.




I am awake right now, as I was then, making cupcakes for him to take to daycare to share with his friends.

We had a good weekend celebrating Jake and his Daddy. We spent Saturday at Chuck E Cheese with his friend Madilyn. He is now decked out with Batman appearal, new clothes, cowboy boots, and a bicycle with a "cool" batman helmet.



I love you Jacob.
